Preheat oven to 175 degree celsius.
Mix cookie crumbs, sugar, and malted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.
Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
Incorporate eggs one at a time , then add sour cream.
Pour half the batter over the crust.
Dot with cookie dough and half the chocolate chips.
Top with remaining batter and chocolate chips.
Bake for 45 minutes until the center is set but still jiggly.
Cool, then refrigerate for 4 hours.
