CHUNKY MONKEY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

  1. 1 medium banana, frozen
  2. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of your choice
  3. 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
  4. 1 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  5. 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  6. 1 tbsp honey (optional for added sweetness)
  7. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  9. 1/4 cup ice (optional for a thicker smoothie)

 

Instructions:

Blend the Ingredients:

In a blender, combine the frozen banana, almond milk, chocolate protein powder, peanut butter, cocoa powder, honey (if using), vanilla extract, greek yogurt and ice (if using).

Blend Until Smooth:

Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk and blend again until the desired consistency is reached.

Serve:

Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
