ASIAN CARAMELIZED GINGER SOY CHICKEN

Ingredients:

  1. 4 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
  2. 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  3. 2 tablespoons honey
  4. 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 tablespoon seasame oil
  7. 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  8. 2 green onions, finely chopped
  9. Seasame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, seasame oil and chili flakes.

Place chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.

Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 190 degree celsious.

Bake the marinated chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is caramelized.

Garnish with chopped green onions and seasame seeds before serving.
